All-on-4 is a descriptive name for dentures supported by four implants in the upper or lower jaw. In this procedure, four implants are placed in the sturdiest areas of bone and dentures are affixed to the implants.  


Implant-supported dentures can either be removable for cleaning at home or permanently attached.

Why Only Four Implants?  

Typically, four implants are enough to anchor dentures. Additionally, people who have worn dentures for many years have often lost a significant amount of bone in either jaw. By only placing four implants for either an upper or lower denture, the strongest areas of bone can be utilized. (Please note: Some patients may require more than four implants to stabilize their dentures.)
